you'll need:
10 gs dehydrated zucchini slices
10 gs dehydrated green peas
10 gs dehydrated tomatoes
10 gs dried mushrooms
1/2 vegetable bouillon cube, crumbled
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning iHerb
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder iHerb
1 tablespoon ghee
1 tablespoon freeze-dried grated Parmesan cheese or shelf-stable grated Parmesan cheese
at home:
Combine pasta, dehydrated vegetables and spices in a medium-sized zip lock bag.
Pack ghee and Parmesan cheese separately.
on the trail:
Pour Pasta Primavera mixture into a pot, add 1 cup water and stir well.
Place pot over medium heat and bring to a boil.
Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes.
Remove from the heat, cover, and let stand another 5-10 minutes to rehydrate meal completely.
Stir in ghee and Parmesan cheese.
notes:
For vegan and lactose-free version omit ghee and cheese. Ghee also can be replaced with olive oil.
